언어와 문화를 넘어 마음을 잇다

“Nice to meet you!” We shared smiles and kind words, bringing our hearts closer together.

On October 14, Drawing Generations kicked off with an exciting first meeting! Eight seniors and four Nepalese international students from Gangseo University came together in teams and got to know one another by sharing their favorite things and stories about their hometowns, all guided by the instructor’s lively and cheerful energy.

Together, they drew each other’s faces to create a collaborative artwork. Looking at their creations, they exchanged compliments like “Handsome!”, “Gentlemanly!”, “Beautiful!” and “Pretty!” ? With kind words and laughter all around, the initial awkwardness soon melted away. The seniors also stood out as they chatted naturally with the students in fluent English.

The teams came up with their own team cheers and embarked on AI-powered journeys around the world using their group photos. To wrap up the day, everyone posed for a group photo holding their completed collaborative artwork!

It was a wonderful start filled with fun and new memories. We can’t wait to see what stories the next five meetings will bring!
